Christians praise the One true and living God who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is a mystery; yet there is no doctrine that is more central to the Christian faith than our belief in the trinity: God is three-in-one. Even if it is impossible to comprehend completely, it remains essential that Christians understand this teaching of the One God who creates, redeems, and sanctifies as triune God.
